ROMCOM: Development Solutions for Businesses

ROMCOM is a Swiss-Romanian organization with 20 years experience in providing development solutions for small and medium enterprises through financing, consulting and business training. The ROMCOM program was launched in Oradea in 1991 by Christliche Ostmission from Worb Switzerland, having as founding members Mr. Georges Dubi, Mr. Mario Bruehlmann, Mr. Erno Veres and Mr. Emeric Kulcsar. Today, ROMCOM has offices in Oradea, Timisoara, Zalau, Suceava and Galati.

During 1992-2011, ROMCOM financed more than 1200 business projects valued at approx. 20 million EUR, which created and supported over 6000 jobs. The ROMCOM loans are offered through the Microfinancing Company IFN ROMCOM SA with funding from Christliche Ostmission, Swiss Agency for Development and Cooperation, HOPE International, COOPEST SA and Oikocredit.

ROMCOM INVEST is the consulting division of the ROMCOM group and specializes in business consulting, attracting grants, and bank loan intermediation. ROMCOM INVEST has a portofolio of over 500 clients, both Romanian and foreign. During the period 2004-2011, grants were successfully obtained to finance and implement over 400 projects valued at approx. 250 million RON.

ROMCOM TRAINING provides business training services in partnership with Emanuel University of Oradea. Our trainers offer a wide range of topics in open seminars for businessmen, as well as personalized solutions through internal seminars.
