ROMCOM: Development Solutions for Businesses

ROMCOM is a Romanian-Swiss organization with 30 years of experience providing development solutions for small and medium-sized enterprises through financing, consultancy, and business training services. The ROMCOM program began in Oradea in 1991, initiated by the Christliche Ostmission organization from Worb, Switzerland, with founding members Georges Dubi, Mario Bruhlmann, Erno Veres, and Emeric Kulcsar.

SME Loans

Between 1992 and 2021, ROMCOM financed over 2,800 business projects, creating and supporting more than 11,000 jobs. ROMCOM loans are provided through the Microfinance Institution IFN ROMCOM SA, funded by international institutional investors, including Social Impact AG, COOPEST, Symbiotics, and the European Investment Fund.

Business Consultancy and Non-Repayable Funding

ROMCOM CAPITAL PARTNERS is ROMCOM’s consultancy division specializing in securing non-repayable funding. Since 2004, ROMCOM has successfully obtained grants for over 1,000 investment projects, totaling more than 500 million lei.

Training

ROMCOM TRAINING provides business training services. In addition to open seminars available to businesspeople, ROMCOM TRAINING trainers offer customized training solutions through in-house seminars.
